How long does it take for the money to show up in the Shopify balance from when a customer pays for a product?

If you’re using Shopify Payments, the money from customer orders shows up directly in your Shopify Balance—usually within minutes after a successful transaction. You can track it right from your Shopify admin under Finances > Balance.
But if the order was paid through a third-party payment provider like PayPal or Stripe, the money won’t appear in Shopify Balance. Instead, it goes straight to your account with that provider, and you’ll need to log in there to view or manage the funds.

Hello Austin @Austin2196 like the previous comment already pointed out, it depends on your payment gateway being used. If it’s Shopify payments and you don’t see it in less than an hour then you should reach out to Shopify support.
For other payment gateways, you’ll need to check your personal account on the gateway and if the balance isn’t there, you could reach out to the appropriate support team of that payment medium
