My name is Alex and I just opened my store on shopify. The only problem I have is, that I bought a new domain and replaced my old IONOS domain with a domain I bought directly on shopify.
I bought the domain 15 mins ago but I cant even reach the website right now.
Im new to ecommerce and now Im wondering if I did something wrong.

A newly purchased domain will require some time to successfully connect to the shop. This typically takes around 48 hours to be successfully completed. To learn more about this process, you can check out our Purchasing a Domain document as it touches on this further.
After taking a closer look however, I can confirm that the domain is correctly pointing to Shopify. Due to this, I’d encourage you to allow for some time to pass and Contact Support if after 48 hours the domain hasn’t successfully connected to the shop.
