How long does PayPal order fulfillment take in dropshipping?

Hi there,

  • I am new to Shopify dropshipping. I have a one product store on which I am using PayPal and Lay-Buy as payment gateways(can’t use Shopify payments or stripe). To fulfill the orders how long will it take me to get the money after I get a sale from Paypal or do I have to fulfill the order with my own money. Kindly help.

PayPal and Laybuy each have their own processing times for payments. I found some details here about how their withdrawals/payouts work:

Keep in mind that there may still be a processing time before the funds appear in your bank account.

It is possible to wait for your payouts to be deposited before placing an order with your supplier, but it’s important to make sure customers are aware of your order processing time, and the difference between order processing and shipping/delivery. To offer the fastest possible shipping and delivery times, you may wish to place the order with your own funds before the payment is deposited in your bank account. However, customers might not mind waiting a few extra days so long as they know about it and understand the process up front. I hope this helps!
