Hey,
I’ve transferred my domain from Ionos to Shopify. The domain is connected but SSL is still pending. Just wondering how long SSL will be Pending and if there’s any way to accelerate this process.
Thanks,
Ant

Hello, @ScarceFootwear .
Could you share the domain address with me, please? So I can check how it appears for me. When you use a third-party domain like Ionos, you connect the domain to your store via editing the domain’s DNS settings. The correct settings to apply are:
Once you have done this, please be aware it takes up to 48 hours for these changes to apply, and for the SSL to apply. Is it possible that you are currently within this 48-hour window right now? If you are, you can continue to your .myshopify.com URL until the custom domain is ready, so your store will still be accessible to customers. There is no way to accelerate this process.
Are you ready for launch with this store? I would definitely recommend having a read over our store launch checklist to make sure you are ready to hit the ground running as soon you hit “publish”! I trust this advice is helpful for you, thank you.
Hey Ivy,
Thanks for getting back to me,
The domain is www.scarcefootwear.com
I can confirm the 48 hour window has just passed, it’s also a new domain which never had an SSL to start with, I purchased it then started the transfer to Shopify.
I am sure I have changed the correct settings in the DNS on Ionos, but there seems to be duplicates, I have attached a copy of the table if you can read it ![]()

Thanks for your time,

Yes indeed it looks like you have duplicates of a few of the DNS settings. I would advise applying them exactly as they appear here, and removing any duplicates. After you have done this you will have to wait up to 48 hours but your domain should then be working correctly:
Let me know if this works, thanks!
