How many items should I have in my store? I sell clothing for Men and Women.

Happy to help!! I understood your query. You can add as many products as you wish. Shopify doesn’t have limitations or some rules for minimum products count. You can start with single product and add upto your preference. I will suggest upload all the products you currently have for Men and Women.

You should have a full offer. If you have any collections, you should have all items from the given collection added.
