I’m a new one in this group and new seller in shopify as well. So i want to ask 2 questions
1, How many items i can list on my store?
2, Can i run my business without advertising at first?
Really need you guys help.

There’s no limit to the number of products you can create, there’s a limit of 100 variants per product.
Of course you can launch a store without advertising, but you’ll need some way of attracting traffic to the store and that can be difficult for a fresh store without paying for it.

And can you let me know that how much fee i need to pay for shopify when 1 item was sold (How many percent out of price?), and do i must pay fee for one listing item?
Shopify doesn’t calculate fees based on the number of items you’re offering on your store, see the detailed pricing page here: https://www.shopify.com/pricing
Your store will have to be on a paid plan for customers to be able to purchase from your store.

We have an upper limit of 100,000 products in your Shopify store, although I generally do not recommend having this many products as this can be very overwhelming for customers. Do you have an idea in mind of what kind of products you will be selling?
You certainly can run your store without advertising if you wish, but again I would not recommend this. It is a good idea to have a pre-launch advertising campaign running to get people interested ion your store before you ever even open. We have a really useful launch checklist here that briefly covers everything you need to do before a successful launch, I would advise taking time to read over this.
I stand corrected, I guess my information regarding the limit for the number of products was outdated.
Actually, where did you get that 100,000 product upper limit @Ivy_4 ? Because the pricing page explicity says “Unlimited products” on all plans.
