As far as I know, unlimited stores but you need to purchase a plan for each store after the trial.

@ericbarbwire would be correct in that you can have as many stores as you’d like, but I did want to take a moment to expand on the answer.
The subscription pays for one website, meaning that if you wanted more than one store, then you would need to pay for each one separately. The stores would need to have their own admins as multiple stores can not be managed from one admin. If you use the same email for all of the stores, then you’d be able to use the store switcher to easily toggle between stores.
Are the additional stores for different languages and/or currencies that sell the same product and run under the same brand or would each store be a different niche/company?
