How much traffic can Shopify withstand until it collapses?

I am currently creating an onlineshop for a client. This customer will soon be live on TV. They expect about 200,000 store visitors at the time of the broadcast. After the day of the broadcast, many store visitors are still expected, but much fewer than on the evening of the broadcast.

I have a question if the Shopify store can withstand this high traffic? As well as the orders, of course. How many orders per minute are possible? At what point does Shopify break down?

I urgently need to avoid the store being unavailable during the TV broadcast. What can I do about this? Is there a possibility to get a Shopify employee at the time of the TV broadcast who can monitor this and act if necessary?

I hope that I have explained my problem and concern clearly and understandably. The store must NOT collapse during the TV broadcast. What are my options?

Best regards.
