How processing orders beyond daily limit?

Hello, I am in search of a solution that goes as follows:

My company can manufacture a maximum of 1,000 product items daily. I would like to sell as many as 1,000 items daily through Shopify. However, I anticipate selling more than 1,000 items in the future, but my production capacity is limited to 1,000 items per day. I discovered that Shopify Apps allow me to set a daily sales limit.

Now, I want to offer customers the option to place orders beyond the daily limit, which will be automatically processed for the following day or the day after. This would serve as a pre-sales or order waiting list.

Can you suggest how I can implement this feature?

Happy to help out today! I’m not familiar with an existing third-party app that would be able to accomplish this by allowing oversells by scheduling it for another day. With that said, a custom-coded app solution would be a good thing to look into. I’m confident one of our Shopify experts would be able to accomplish this at a reasonable price.
