Hi everyone, new to Shopify and was wondering I see that there is a store feedback section (which I’m posting in now) first I just want to make sure is it what it sounds like where you can give the link to your store and the password and people from the community will go over your website and give you feedback? Or is it used just for requesting feedback on a certain section of your website? And then second I’m curious to know if indeed it’s safe. Obviously we are all here trying to do our own thing whether we’ve created a store or we’re working on one and I think we all know that each other stores aren’t fully done yet most likely so I just don’t want anybody trying to place an order when my prices aren’t set yet. Things of that nature. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

Yes, the store feedback section on the Shopify community is a place where you can share the link to your store and request feedback from other community members. You can ask for feedback on specific sections of your website or the entire store.
As for the safety concern, it’s understandable that you don’t want anyone placing an order before your store is fully set up. However, you can avoid this by not providing your website password to anyone, you can send a personal message to the person who will reply to your post.
You can also mention in your post that your store is still in the development stage and that you’re only looking for feedback at this point.
Simple solution is change password after getting feedback as it’s better to provide the password if you’re looking for feedback because if you will not provide the password maybe no one will reply to you and you will not get any feedback.

You are free to ask for feedback on the entirety or any part of your store you wish here, and you will get responses from your fellow merchants, our Shopify Partners, or even from us as Shopify staff.
When your password page is in place, even when a visitor can access using that password it would not be possible for them to check out while the password page is in place.
So there is no danger of a product being checked out before you’re ready to launch, as the checkout would simply not be available.
That said, feel free to drop a link to your store and let us know if there’s a specific part or just general feedback you’d like!
