I have two Shopify stores and both with quite different product niches.
One store is old and running well with google ad campaigns. I am developing the second store and now the time has come to promote it.
What’s the best practise, shell I create another google ad account and merchant centre account to create and run Google ad campaigns or merge with the one already running ?

Be very careful having 2 websites. As this usually leads to a suspension. Google generally expects 1 business = 1 website = 1 account.

Google Ads expects 1 business = 1 account. Simply use 1 Google Ads account.

I have done a bit of my research and have found out that the right way is to request an advanced account setup in “Merchant centre account settings”
Advanced account setups are available on request for businesses that provide services to other merchants, merchants that operate multiple websites and other, more complex business structures.
This conversion will be permanent.

For Google Merchant Center, if you are a marketplace, manufacturer with multiple brands, or an international seller, then yes, you can setup an advanced account.
