We have just started our business and Shopify store, but we can not accept payments with iDEAL that is our most common payment method in the Netherlands. How can we start to accept payment with iDEAL without a restriction?
We also want to sell products with subscription model, we would to accept subscription payments with iDEAL.

To accept iDEAL you need to use Shopify Payments and make sure your account is fully verified KVK bank account ID. Then enable iDEAL under Settings Payments Shopify Payments Manage.
If it’s restricted, contact Shopify Payments support to check your verification status.
For subscriptions iDEAL doesn’t support automatic recurring payments, so most Dutch merchants use SEPA Direct Debit or credit card for recurring billing alongside iDEAL.

We use a third party integration solution and connected our Stripe account with a custom checkout service to our Shopify store.
It also supports subscriptions with iDEAL+SEPA through Stripe, the first payment is received with iDEAL, while subsequent payments are automatically collected with SEPA.
Our current recommendation would be the third-party Stripe Checkout integration because we don’t pay any additional commission; only Stripe’s standard fees are deducted from payments and Stripe supports a lot of payment methods more in one.

Complete verification documents to remove onboarding restrictions
For subscriptions:
Many Dutch stores use: iDEAL for one-time orders , SEPA for subscriptions and cards/PayPal as backup
