How to access collection metafields in rich text block on collection page

Hi there,

I am looking for a clarification to see if above is possible using Dawn theme. I am looking to replace the collection banner with a rich text block instead as I do not like how the banner is being styled. I can access title from the rich text block, but that is the only metafield exposed in the shopify theme editor? Before I go down the route of either customise the collection banner with css, or adding a custom liquid section to the rich text block, I wanted to double check if there was any other ways to achieve this naitively without customisation?

For rich text block setting type you should be able to connect a dynamic source to use either single-line text metafields or multiline metafields among others.

From the collection page? In fact I just realized collection description is
not a metafield anyways, so it seems like Shopify exposed collection title
as a dynamic source for rich text block but not the collection description.
I think I will go down the route of customize collection banner.
