i want to add a cart note to my cart page and i already have the code buuut i would like to make it appear only if the cart contains items. how can i proceed? thank you in advance!

You could easily achieve this by enabling the cart note feature on your theme customize. By default, the note will appear only if the cart contains items.
Steps:
- Vintage Them: From Online Store > Theme > Customize > Theme Setting > Cart page > Enable order notes.
- Online Store: From Online Store > Theme > Customize> Choose Cart on top center dropdown menu> Select Subtotal > Enable cart notes.

You could edit your cart note by editing your theme language:

From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Actions > Edit languages.

In the Filter translations box, type Add a note to show the order notes translation:
- Enter a new order notes label.
- Click Save.
