How to add a gift card code option at checkout?

Hello, how do I add a “insert gift card code” in checkout? I already made my gift cards but I can’t find the option to add that for my customers.

Thank you for reaching out!

To activate the gift card feature and for it to show in your checkout as a method of payment you just need to go to Products > Gift Cards and click add gift card product. Once you have a gift card created the option will show in your checkout.

I did but I still don’t have the “enter gift card code” option. my gift cards are activated in the product section

Hi @DaeWay218 and @Emily_50 ,

In order for the Gift Card input box to show on Checkout, you must have an active gift card issued from your Shopify account. If no gift card has ever been sold or issued, the box will not render. Same is true for the Discount Code box at Checkout.
