How to add a multicolumn into Booklyn theme

I have just added the theme Booklyn to my Shopify store - I would like to add a multicolumn to this theme.

I have tried to copy and paste the code from the Theme Craft with little success as it warps the columns all funny once you are in custom mode. Look forward to hearing from you!
