How to add a password protected exclusive area to the website

Hello,

How can we add an exclusive area to our website for “members” to access if they have a special password or sign-in? We would like to invite special customers to preview products in this area and have the option to buy before anyone else.

Hi,

I use an app called Locksmith. It has a few different options of how you can lock certain pages on your site and what type of key and how they are used. It is a paid app but for less than 10 bucks a month I find it well worth it for my needs. They offer a free trial, and also offer negotiated rates if your on a tighter budget. Check it out if you get a chance.
