How to add a .png/jpeg, etc. file formats to my Shopify store product page as a placeholder

How can I change Shopify’s message, “No Products found \ Use fewer filters or remove all,” on a product page if I don’t have a current listing and need to use a .png/.jpeg file as a placeholder?

I have looked up many suggestion on the internet including this one - https://support.safeasmilk.co/article/148-collection-page-display-custom-placeholder-image - but no success.

Placid, I have already tried that solution and it did not work as I indicated in original question, and the url therein which suggested the same thing
