How to add a secondary navigation menu

I need a secondary navigation menu in my store like in miinto.com or farfetch.com.

Im using the Release theme.

I’ve already tried copying the header code, using different plug-in. even tried to make it myself in figma, but it’s too complicated for me.

is this possible? I would much appreciate some help!

ofcourse, thank you

Hi Muhammed @shopify-code-help

Do you have no shame? Why are you getting back to asking people for collaborator code? To scam more?

Or using multiple accounts, pretending you are someone else, like @Maximus3 pointed out here

You have enough knowledge to do honest work, but you choose to scam and deceive.

So @krikri watch out to whom you give access to your store

Yeah, same name and same profile. But you are right, it could be coincidental. If it mistake, you can report my post, and I truly apologize. There are a lot of people who try to take advantage of merchants.

I did not de-value your skill; I said you do have skills. And you are right that the forum is a place to spread knowledge and help people, and for that, I am not jealous and wish more new developers would come.

Not talking about this particular work, but in general, this is a free public forum. As such, asking for collaborator code is explicitly off limits as described in the Community Guidelines rule #4.

Keep it public, so others can have access to the solutions.

@krikri

Laza is 100% correct. You need to be more careful. There are scammers here. Not saying he is one, but use caution. He created that profile a week ago.

If the solution requires access to a your shopify admin via collaborator code, you need to first exhaust public options first, and that can often mean searching. Also, Shopify provides a helper tool called Sidekick that can easily do much of the work for you. Collaborator code should be “last resort” kind of thing. All else failed, I need a professional.

Need a secondary menu? No problem, let me show you how you can do it without giving “collaborator access

  1. Download this section file by Clicking here
  2. Once it’s downloaded then go to Online store > Edit Code
  3. Now carefully see the screenshots below and follow the steps

In the “Sections” folder, right click and click on “New File”

After that, name that file secondary-tabs.liquid and press Enter

Paste the code of the file which you downloaded and save it

There you go, now you have got yourself a new section which you can add by just simply going into theme editor/customization as you can see in the screenshot below.

Things can be done without collaborator access as well @shopify-code-help

But anyways, @krikri if you’re still confused about anything then let me know. Happy to help.

Cheers,
Moeed
