How to add a section with 3 text boxes overlayed over an image in Debut theme

I would like to create a page that has an image with 3 separate text boxes over the image. I would like 1 wide and short text box with 2 skinny and taller textboxes centered below the top text box.

I think I can do this if I can set an image as the background of a custom content section.
