i have one question i want to add an my all collections as filter,
ex. if i have an collections name **ABC, 123, DEF, 456
**
then i want to show this collections name in filter in product filter.
Is there any solution i don’t see any built in solution please give me suggestion.
Straight answer: No, Shopify doesn’t have a built-in way to filter products by collection. The native Storefront Filtering only supports product type, vendor, availability, price, tags, and metafields, not collections until and unless you’re using third party apps.
Apps like Boost Product Filter & Search or Smart Product Filter & Search offer collection-based filtering as a feature.
While Shopify doesn’t have this functionality natively built in, you might be able to work around the limitation by creating a True or false metafield that represents a collection, setting it to True for all products in that collection and then enabling that metafield filter.
I had the same situation a few months ago and found out Shopify doesn’t allow native filtering by collections. The quickest solution for me was an app like Boost Product Filter & Search. It showed up as a filter on product pages instantly without coding.
