How to add an external link on Minimal theme home page?

How do i add an external link on my home page Minimal theme? I want to add a link and a picture on my home page for people to join my Facebook group.

Thank you for your question! I’m happy to say that there are three sections you can use to add an external link to your homepage so your customers can join your Facebook group.

For all three sections, you’ll need to type out the external link in full, including “http://” and then click on the link, like so:

Sections of the Minimal theme

The sections where you can add an external link with a photo are the Slideshow section, the Image with Text section, and the Gallery section. I’ll explain how you can add your external link within each section. You’ll also see how these sections might look like on your website through my examples below.

  1. The Slideshow section. If you’d like this photo and link to be one of your slides in your homepage slideshow, you can do that by adding a slide selecting the slide, and adding your image and link like so:

  1. The Image with Text section is available in the Minimal theme. You can add your image, button label, and even add a hyperlink to your text if you’d like:

  1. The Gallery section: This section would work well if your image already has all the information the customer needs to see, including instructions to “Click here” or something similar. You want it to be clear to the customer that they need to click on the image. This is because this section doesn’t give you the option to add a button label like the previous two sections. Instead, the customer will be redirected to your external link once they click on the image:
