How to add an interactive animal gallery in Motion theme?

Hi

I have a question regarding the Shopify Motion theme. We’re looking to add a gallery of animal pictures and we want to then have the gallery when you click on the animal to either pop up with an overview of that animal or it goes to a new page with the overview. At the moment it looks like it is just a gallery of images. Any help would be appreciated ie if there is an app that we need to get to allow this type of feature or special coding. I think an app would be the best option. Thanks

Hi any other suggestions on best shopify template (paid and free). We want one that is really fast. Are they all the same? Or are some better than others. Currently using Motion theme. Thanks
