How to add custom badges to ShowTime theme?

It appears ShowTime theme does not allow for custom badges. I have created a metafield description badge to say “Buy 2 get 10% Off” but it is not allowing me to turn on. Is it just the theme? How can I add custom badges to ShowTime theme? The screen shot below - I would like the “Buy 2 get 10% Off” custom badge on the Diet Coke product grid thumbnail. Once the customer clicks into the PDP the discount displays but I would like it to show on the homepage thumbnail. Thanks!

If you need to use the 3rd party app, try the Product Labels & Badges app ^^

You can refer the below video and modify the theme code to add any number of badges in your store. Code shared in video is not limited to any theme.

Did you ever find any help modifying the code for the ShowTime theme? I’m looking for help with a similar project and wondering if there are any discussion boards relating to that product.
