How to add "Customizable Lines" to individual products

Hi,

I am a custom apparel company and on my website I am looking to add customize lines to each product. So when an item is chosen and size is given, in the same product page.

So I want to have two things…

A. Checkbox for customize (yes or No)

B. “if yes, then” a customer is able to put a “NAME:” in one box and “Number:” in another

I was able to do this for the cart in checkout, but for those wanting to order multiple items with potentially different custom names and numbers, this causes multiple orders for a single person. Which in turn frustrates a customer, so there for to have these prior to check out and on product page, this would keep customers coming back.

In the pic I uploaded its in the cart and I have two products there, but want different names and numbers on each and I cant cause theres only one set for custom text boxes. So I would like the custom text boxes on each product when ordering (I guess as a variant?).

If anyone can help with this i would be forever grateful.

Great question. This can actually be done through a product options app. Product options such as text, color, image, and more. I’ve shared 2 apps below that would apply to your use case as well as a unique feature for them.
