How to add 'Donation' beside item prices on a Simple theme?

Hi all,

I am using the theme “Simple.” I am a nonprofit. My website will include a online merch shop. So instead of selling our merch, I just want to collect a donation for the item. So is there anyway to edit my theme so when a items price is shown, it will have the word “Donation” beside it??? Like if a item costs $25, it will say $25.00 Donation. Is that possible?

Technically possible BUT I’d advise against it.
Shopify caters more to ecommerce/physical products.

For your kind approach, you may want to integrate a simple payment gateway.
