I want to give my customers an option to choose what type of emails they want to receive. How can I make a page where they can basically select their email preferences and it will update their customer profile so I can segment them when sending emails. Anyone know how I can do this?
my site is https://alanrichardtextiles.com
Hey Alanrichardtex,
Heddy from Gameball here.
If you want to let customers pick what kinds of emails they get, here’s a straightforward way to do it:
Create a new page on your site, maybe call it “Email Preferences” or something like that.
Use a form builder app like Klaviyo or Mailchimp. These apps let you create a form where people can check off what they want to receive.
When they submit the form, it’ll automatically update their profile in your email list.
Add a link to this page in your email footers or somewhere in their account area so they can easily find it.
Once that’s done, you can send out emails based on what they said they’re interested in.
Hope this helps!

To add email preferences for customers, you can:
Create a Preferences Page: Add a page to your site where customers can select their email preferences.
Store Preferences: Use a form to capture these preferences and store them in your customer database.
Update Profiles: Ensure the form updates the customer profiles with their chosen preferences.
Segment Emails: Use the stored preferences to segment and send targeted emails.
You might use tools like Mailchimp , Klaviyo , or a custom solution based on your site’s platform.
