How to add Etsy button in footer on Craft Theme

Hi, I have active social media icons in the footer but I want to add a button for my Etsy page. I do not see that as an option but I’ve been told it can be done. Thanks!!

Are you using the official app?

I don’t know if this will add the icon to the social media icons on your shop but it is wort a try.

If not, it has to be done in the code. There is an option in the theme settings to add social media links but it does not include Etsy or allows for an upload of your own choice.

Hi, yes I’m using the official app. I read somewhere there might be some other third party app I could get that would allow me to add it. I’ve seen it on other Craft theme sites.

The integration app will not make any cosmetic changes towards the front end of your site, you can however figure out where in your code the social links are and add another to cover etsy. If you provide a link to your store I would be happy to help further.

Looks like it is a part of the newsletter section of the footer, go to your online editor and look for newsletter in the footer section, there should be an option for social links. If not let me know and we can further look into this.

Hi, I found the social media options but Etsy is not one of them. See screenshots. These are the only options I have.

If you navigate to the social-newsletter section file in the code, you should see the options that are already set up. You can copy one of these and swap the info to reflect etsy. While doing this I would recommend locating a free Etsy logo svg online to use as your icon. Should you need more help with this, please let me know and we can schedule a time to review this and implement a solution.
