I’m trying to add a second product to one of my pages, but it either replaces the first one or does nothing. I have no problem when I just add all products button or just an individual item. Should I be doing this on my laptop? I’ve only done this on the app and Safari.

When you say you’re trying to add a second product, are you referring to a variant? As in, are you trying to add multiple options for one product for a customer to choose from? If so, we have a handy guide on how to add variants.

Meanwhile, we highly recommend that you build your site on a laptop or anything that has a large enough screen and is easy to navigate and work from. We also recommend that you use the latest version of Google Chrome for best results.

I have no problem with adding variants. What I mean is when I try to add a new product to a page that already has products on it, it either replaces that product or does nothing. I have no issues when I add all products and search links to the page.
Ok, so when you say page you’re referring to a collection! I understand that better now. Could I ask what theme you’re using, please? Is it a free Shopify theme or a third-party paid theme? -Hyde
Yes, I am using a free theme: Debut. Is it because it’s free or it’s just something I should be doing on my laptop?
Ok, so if you are trying to add a product to your collection, there are two ways of doing that.
- One way is by creating a manual collection and adding each product manually.
- The other way is through an automated collection.
Whichever method you choose, if you do it properly then the products you want to be included in that collection will be included.
However, the collection itself still needs to be linked to the storefront via the theme you are using. So you are using the Debut theme, which comes with its own help documentation right here.
You may want to link the collection(s) you create to one of the menus on your store (there’s the Main Menu at the top of a Footer Menu at the bottom - more on that here) and you may want to link the collection to one of the sections in your store too - there’s more about the collection pages on your Debut theme right here.
