How to add new search functionality from Dawn 10.0 to Dawn 5.0? Custom theme, so no auto update.

I am just trying to get the suggestions, blogs, pages and anything else thats in the predictive search results in dawn 10.0, on dawn 5.0.
I can’t do an auto update since its a custom theme.
