How to add order cancel button or option in customer account order page or history?

Hey Guys,

I have recently opned the shopify store. I am using ecomm sold theme for my website. But I have realized that , customer doesn’t get an option of order cancellation button in their placed/confirm order if they are under refund duration like amazon or any other e-commerce website.

Is there a way we can do this in shopify as this will reduce a lot stress on online activities related to refund.

Well the solution giving was not what I asked for.

Here is the screenshot of what I meant.

Just in the below screenshot as you can see there is the first order is diapers. And there is an button available for customers to return. Is that thing also possible with shopify?

I have made an app specifically for this!

The app name is Cancellable (https://apps.shopify.com/cancellable) ,

this app allows customer to cancel order on the order status page :

The app also lets you to add cancellation link on the customer account page, the link will bring customer to the order status page (so that they can see the order items before cancelling) :

You can set the time limit which the customer can cancel after placing order (eg: customer can only cancel an order within 4 hours of placing order)

Yes, it is possible. Customers can self-cancel the products from the account page through a custom code. I have implemented the same without any third-party APP or API. I have attached a screenshot. Please see this. Please let me know if you are
