How to add other links in the policy section

Hi,

I have the Origin theme. I enabled the policy section. I would like to add the CCPA and Cookies policy to this section but don’t know what code/page to edit.

Can anyone help?

You can go to the Settings > Policies. You can find other policies section there.

yes i know about the policies and i have them all setup, what i need is there is 2 more documents I want linked in that section but I cannot find the code to alter and add the 2 additional links which are Do Not Sale Policy for CCPA and the Cookie Policy.

I want those 2 links beside the other policies but the way the policy section is made configured in Shopify, you can’t add other linked pages, which is a problem.

So I need to know what liquid file to modify and what code required to link those extra pages.

@Reicocreations Yes, you can not add other policy content. But you can try to add the new template or page for your purposes.

If you prefer to create the new template, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Online Store > Customize

  2. At the top of the customize page select the dropdown

  3. Click on pages

  4. Click on Create template

  5. Give the template name, for example, cookie-policy-template, and select the based template on the default page and save.

  6. After you create the template, go to the Online Store > Pages > Add page

  7. Add the page name related to your page, for example, Cookie Policy Page

  8. Select the theme template to the template you have created and click Save

  9. You can put the content inside the page editor or through the Customize page

thats all good but i still need to put the link at the bottom of the page. That’s the issue, is putting the link to the Cookie Policy.

I would expect that the policy page be setup that you can add other content. Shopify ! please do this.
