How to add the options for a custom section?

Hi, I am new to shopify and I was recently hired as an admin for my client’s store, he wanted me to learn how to customized our shop through codes, I am not an expert on any coding or sort but I am very fascinated by the world of coding.

There is a customized section that was created by the one that built the store and in his customized section, there are options to:
add background image
choose the background color
Edit the heading

Edit the subheading

Edit the button Text

add a button link

then below, I can add use items wherein I can edit each use item’s number and description.

I want to add a block on the custom section wherein it gives me an option to attach a video. How do i do this? Please, someone teach me.

Hello, BIZNAZZ101 here I am happy to help answer your question.

In the theme editor, then go to the area of the store you’d like to change, click add section and select “Video”.

You can then drag the section above or below other section blocks.

Thank you for your kind response. What I meant is that there is a custom section that was created with coding and I wanted to add a video option on that custom section not add another video section.
