Thanks for your reply, but it’s actually not the thing we are looking for. We are looking for: to adjust our delivery time in Shopify to 1-2 days, so the Shopify API feed connection won’t override/adjust the feed in Google to 1-9 days
Topic summary
Issue: Delivery times auto-synced from Shopify to Google Merchant Center (GMC) keep reverting to 1–9 days, while Shopify’s “Expected delivery dates” setting is disabled/greyed out. Manual changes in GMC are overwritten by the Google & YouTube app sync. Images show the greyed Shopify settings (not essential to interpret).
Key clarifications:
- GMC (product ads/feed) is separate from Google Search Console (GSC; indexing/structured data). GSC does not control GMC shipping settings.
- If shipping is managed by third-party carriers/apps, that data often isn’t passed to GMC via feed apps.
Suggested approaches:
- Disable automatic shipping settings in the Google & YouTube app; set shipping in GMC directly. Some shipping edits have been limited recently (GMC Next). A video guide for GMC Next was shared.
- Use a different feed app (e.g., Multiple Google Shopping Feeds) to avoid the auto-override and manage shipping in GMC.
- If using native Shopify shipping, and updates don’t reach GMC, contact Google’s Shopify app support.
Recent update/outcome:
- OP still cannot resolve; reconnecting reverts to long delivery times.
- Another user reports a workaround using CedCommerce: upload products (took ~10 days), disable “upload shipping/returns,” then manually configure shipping/returns in GMC.
Status: Unresolved for OP; viable workaround via third-party feed apps. Open question: how to re-enable Shopify’s greyed “Expected delivery dates.”
