How to align text in footer - Refresh theme

Hello,
I’ve read several similar threads on this but I must be putting “text-align: center” in the wrong place because the custom text I added in my footer isn’t aligning center as I would like it (website here). Thank you in advance!

I understand that you want to text align center the specific paragraph in the footer, which is currently in left alignment.

  1. From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on “Online Store” and then “Themes”.
  2. Find the theme that you want to edit and click on “Actions” and then “Edit code”.
  3. In the “Assets” folder, click on “theme.scss.liquid” or “styles.scss.liquid” file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles.
  4. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:
  5. And Save.
ul.footer__list-social.list-unstyled.list-social li {
    text-align: center;
}

Hello @Made4uo-Ribe and thank you for your response! Looks like an easy solution, however my theme (Refresh, from Shopify) doesn’t have either a theme.scss.liquid nor a styles.scss.liquid in Assets. No file named “styles” even or “scss” (except for paymentfont.scss.liquid). Any idea what name it could be?

Update: I added it at the bottom of Assets>Base.CSS and it worked!

Oh sorry for that it must be with .css on the last name..

Im currently trying this- However “theme.scss.liquid” or “styles.scss.liquid” doesnt exist in my code under assets. The closest thing i can find it “theme-editor.js”

I am trying to center the alignment in my footer section only.

Please help!

Hi there, I have the exact same issue. I’m using the dawn theme and am trying to centre the footer on the mobile version. I don’t have the codes above. The codes you may find relevant that I have include: section-footer.css / theme-editor.js / base.css. My website is Imporify.com.
