How to Allow Coupon Codes Stacked with Store Credit

We just set up store credit for our customers using the Rewardify app. Our customers receive credit every time they return our reusable bottles and containers to us, so this is something that happens regularly. We noticed that our customers are unable to use coupon codes and their store credit at the same time when placing an order in our online shop. This is something we want to allow them to do because our promos/coupons are totally separate from their store credit. It appears that the store credit gets coded as a coupon code at checkout and so Shopify treats it like code stacking and removes the credit once a promo code is entered, which is not what we want. Is there a work around for this?
