How to apply discounts in specific currencies on a multicurrency store?

We are thinking of becoming a multicurrency store. The major issue we have is discounts. Is there any possible way to run a promotion in one currency and not in others? For example: I want to use a discount code or an automatic discount in the US but not in the UK, Germany or South America.
