hello evryone, I have a question about Inventory Location, can you tell me more about it and how can assign my own warehouse and why I should to assign it
Inventory locations are created in the shopify admin by going to
Settings > Locations > Add Location
You can designate more inventory locations this way such as more retail stores or your warehouse inventory location.
You can then create transfers between locations to move stock around as required.
Inventory locations are basically locations where your stock is held. If you have 1000pcs in warehouse, then assign 1000pcs to your warehouse. If you then need to ship 50pcs to one of your bricks & motor stores, create a transfer for 50pcs between the two locations.
You can optionally ship from these locations.
Important to note where your online store inventory is held and shipped from.
Why use it ? It will help you keep track of how much and where your inventory is stored at.
