How can I attach PDF documents to existing orders. These would be completely internal and are not for customer use and download.
For example. We have a payment option to use a Purchase Order. The customer replies to their order confirmation email with a PDF copy of their purchase order and we fulfill the order.
I would like to be able to upload that PDF to the individual order so there is a record the order was paid for.
Depending on the functionality you might be looking for, you can actually do this from within the order details itself. The “Timeline” has the option to add merchant facing notes and attachments, this includes the ability to upload a PDF file or similar to the order timeline.
Yes, if you do not need this information exportable/reportable (i.e. how many orders have paid and have a certified PO) this is a means of attaching a doc to an order.
