I have a challenge involving Click & Collect orders.

For orders with in-store collection, the last step of the process would be one of our staff marking the order as “Picked up” in Shopify’s Admin.

Our staff often forgets about that step. So we have orders that are still appearing as Unfulfilled that were in fact fulfilled.

The idea we came up with is getting the customers digital signature (on a tablet or similar device), and that would automatically update the orders’ status to “Fulfilled”. That way, staff wouldn’t have to fulfil the orders manually.

Anyone knows of any app or solution that does that?

Would something like Track-POD for iPhone be suitable? Track-POD Proof of Delivery on the App Store (apple.com)

Most of the apps like this one and others, only handle Delivery PODs. I am looking for something simple to capture signature for local pickup orders. I might resort to using the photo option in Shopify app.
