How to avoid promo code clash with other discount app

i’ve used Shopify discount to set discount code / automatic discount code; but it doesn’t work. why is it? would it clash with other discount app? i also installed ‘Unlimited discount Manager’ app .

if it really clashes, how can i set promo code and other discount say bundle discount, free gift, buy 1 get 1 free, etc.. which app is recommended to cater both promo code and discount app?

i need to set mulitple promo codes and different discount rules.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with discounts, to get this resolved. To ensure I’m fully understanding, is a Buy X, Get Y discount being used within the Shopify admin?

If so, Buy X, Get Y discounts regardless of whether they are automatic or utilize a discount code will need the “Get Y” product to be added to the cart to successfully apply at checkout. I recommend checking out our Discounts Documentation for more information on the features and limitations of the various discount types as it touches on this further.

Touching on discount stacking and utilizing more than one discount code on a single order, this would be a limitation. To provide some context, discounts have been designed to be limited to one discount per transaction. I recommend checking out our Discount FAQ Documentation for more information on this as well as additional limitations.

You can set promo codes in Shopify and other discounts like bundle discounts, free gifts, and buy 1 get 1 free in the iCart App.
iCart is the All in One app to offer multiple discounts offers with upselling and cross-selling methods. You can set rules and trigger offers based on location, products, cart amounts, etc.
Customers can apply promo codes on the cart page or cart drawer. Hope it will fulfill your needs.
