How to Build a Fully Automated Shopify Dropshipping Store with AI (Step by Step)

I just wrote a step-by-step guide on how to create a fully automated Shopify dropshipping store using AI.

Building a dropshipping store used to take days or even weeks. Product research, copywriting, branding, pages, images, SEO… it all adds up fast.

Step 1: Choose How You Want to Start

When you open TurboDrop, you have two options:

For this guide, we’ll choose Create Full Store.

Step 2: Add AliExpress Product URLs

Simply go to AliExpress, find the products you want to sell, and copy their URLs.

Paste as many product URLs as you want into TurboDrop.

Already imported products before?
You can also select existing products by clicking “Select Product from Store.”

You can:

  • Use only AliExpress URLs

  • Use only existing products

  • Or combine both at the same time

TurboDrop supports all options.

Step 3: Tell TurboDrop Your Brand Story

Next, you’ll see a field called “What is your story?”

This is where you define your brand’s vibe.

Tell TurboDrop:

  • What makes your brand unique

  • Your mission or inspiration

  • Your values

  • Who your audience is

This story helps TurboDrop align tone, style, branding, and copywriting across your entire store.

Not sure what to write? No problem.

Just select
“I don’t have a specific idea. Let AI create everything for me.”

TurboDrop will handle it automatically.

Step 4: Review AI-Generated Product Copy (Turbo Copywriter)

TurboDrop’s Turbo Copywriter generates optimized product content for you.

For each product, you can:

  • Browse multiple AI-generated versions

  • Switch between them using the left and right arrows

  • Edit titles and descriptions

You can easily move between products and fine-tune each one, while keeping full control.

Fields include:

  • Product title

  • Product description

  • SEO page title

  • Meta description

  • URL handle

Everything is editable.

Step 5: Manage Product Images

Next comes product images.

TurboDrop automatically imports images from AliExpress based on the URLs you added earlier.

From here, you can:

  • Delete any image

  • Add new images

  • Change or remove image backgrounds

  • Reorder images to control how they appear on your product page

This helps you create clean, professional-looking listings that don’t feel “AliExpress-like.”

Step 6: Build Your Brand with Turbo Brand

Now comes branding.

Thank you for a detailed guide. It does look very quick to make a dropshipping store, and with several good features that other apps are missing. I like optimizing titles and descriptions, removing images, and removing backgrounds. As you said, the goal is store don’t feel “AliExpress-like.”

One step you missed is 4. Pay first, then continue :slight_smile: And that is no trial or option to test on the development store. But I see why not, that is the nature of the app. Still, I think there should be a demo at least, to show the final result. I checked the app’s YouTube video, and it looks like the base theme is Dawn, right? Product listing part works with every theme, but I’m not sure for visual style and colors.

And for the result, you said “small tweaks,” and that is it. I think it is more a very solid base, made in a short amount of time, that you should build upon. But you probably saw a lot of posts here where merchants install some dropshipping app, get products, and even without any hard work, expect sales. And then complain that there are no sales. I think your app could have a custom, premium plan where you add more features that help with CRO. But maybe it is too much to ask from one app :slight_smile:

One thing I noticed in the video, though, I do not mind RSD :slight_smile: but maybe that should be USD.
