I would like to use the purchase order feature in Shopify to purchase my raw ingredients then sell a sku. Example: purchase sugar, flour, chocolate chips through the purchase order feature. Then I would bake the cookies and sell chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie would be the product, but i would assemble in shopify from my raw ingredients.
Is this possible? historically, i have used programs that have allowed me to assemble a product from raw ingredients.

You can manage raw ingredients and assemble products in Shopify, but the platform’s native features are somewhat limited in this regard. Shopify primarily focuses on selling finished goods rather than raw materials. You can create separate product listings for your raw ingredients (sugar, flour, chocolate chips) and track their inventory.

Seems you want to create a bundle product where when user will order a cake your related ingredients like sugar, floor etc will be added to their cart.
Am I correct, if not can you help us with complete flow from display of product adding into the cart and action will happen after placing the order??
