How to build an external website to allow customers to customize their shirt and place an order?

Sorry for my stupidity.

I’ve read the dev doc for nearly two days, and I realized it’s too complicated for me to find my answer.

I’ve read a lot of docs and APIs, but my biggest question is I can’t figure out it was for admin or front store.

My requirement:

  • Customers open the store page and browse products.
  • Customers choose one of the base product, and navigating to the external website to customize her/his shirt.
  • After finishing the customization, place an order or add to cart.

Any help would be appreciated. Maybe what I need is just a link. Thanks!!!

How do customers have to go to an external website to customize their shirt?. Why not customizing in the product page of your Shopify store?.
