I have a slightly complicated product combo and I was wondering if there is any way for me to solve it on Shopify.
I have a product (let’s say it’s a camera) with 2 different variants (color, size) and need to create a bundle with a sub product (let’s say it’s lenses), which has 2 different variants (color, size).
The customer should NOT see the bundled product nor have the option to select it’s variants. They just see a normal camera to buy.
When the customer selects the variant of the camera (let’s say, a black, size M), it should automatically select the variant of the lenses that go with it (let’s blue lenses, M size).
It’s like the customer doesn’t know that it’s a bundle, it’s only for us internally for the bundled product to be removed from the inventory.
P.S. Someone suggested adding the same SKU to the camera and the lens of the same variant. The problem is that if someone purchases the lenses individually, then it will also decrease the inventory number of the cameras, when in reality no camera was purchased.
I hope there is something we can do!
