How to center a header menu around a logo?

Topic summary

Goal: split the header navigation around a centered logo in a Shopify theme (e.g., 2 menu items on the left, 3 on the right) while keeping the logo centered.

Context: The store URL was shared (redfroglab.myshopify.com). The logo is already centered; the menu currently sits entirely on the left. Helpers requested the URL (and password if enabled) and asked for clarification of the layout.

Key points:

  • Desired layout is a “split menu” flanking the centered logo.
  • Attempts using only CSS were reported as unsuccessful, non-dynamic, and not responsive.
  • Implementing this typically requires custom development and restructuring header/theme code tailored to the specific theme.

Outcome: No code solution was provided in-thread. The recommendation is to engage a developer to implement a robust, responsive split-navigation around the logo.

Status: Unresolved; no finalized fix shared. Potential next step is custom theme development based on the store’s specific theme structure.

Hey @lauhug

Welcome to Shopify Community! Can you share your Store URL so I can have a look on it? Also, if you have password enabled then please share the password as well. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @lauhug

Please, explain clearly its confusing. Header Menu in center and logo in the right? Would you mind to share your store URL? Thanks!

Yes this is the store’s URL: https://redfroglab.myshopify.com/

Thank you!

The logo (white frog) is already centred so that’s perfect but the menu is all on the left. I’d like 2 on the left and 3 on the right (kind of centred on each side of the logo)

Oh, i know what you mean. Its not the only one looking for that design I think you are the 5th. Unfortunately that designs needs a developer. That will reconstruct the code according to your theme.
