How to change image banner font colour for Dawn?

Hi there,

Currently, the text on my hero image (image banner) is white. Is there a way to update this to black? I’m using Dawn theme.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have let us know which theme you are using as that is very helpful! Looking into the Dawn theme, you can make changes to the font color by navigating to the Theme Editor and selecting on the Theme Settings. Once you select the Theme Settings, you should see the section to make changes to the Colors and change the text color. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

With that being said, when you change the text color in the theme settings - this will apply to all of the text on the your online store. If you specifically would like to only change the text on the image banner, we will need to make a change of coding to the theme. Since the Dawn theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to have our internal team make the changes on your behalf.

If you are interested in using the design time, you will need to login to your store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before speaking directly with a Support Advisor about the changes you would like to see.
