You can achieve exactly what you are looking for through Shopify Markets. Shopify Markets is a relatively new feature which allows Shopify stores to target international markets from a single Shopify account. Not only can you sell in different currencies; you can create tailored experiences based on a customer’s location. This includes the currency, domain, and languages!
When it comes to your payouts, if you are using Shopify Payments, your customers will be charged in their local currency, and you will be paid out in USD to the account on file. That being said, there are some limitations, and some currencies that are not accepted. You will want to review this document before moving forward.
Please follow this guide to get started: managing markets. If you have any questions along the way we are here to help.
Regarding your card reader, it will currently only be able to process transactions in the United States.
In the meantime, I would love to learn more about your business! What is the domain?
Hi @Skye_1 Thank you very much for the input. I will certainly look into the Shopify Markets. I primarily sell pure handwoven silk and cotton sarees completely curated by me. Though my prime market is the US, I do get lot of requests from other parts of the world to buy my products. SO decided to dive into that option. My website is www. antaraweaves.com
Also, one quick question.. Can I accept sales through POS outside the US?
