How to change my shopify community username？

Hi Shopify Community team,

Could you please help me update my community username from Ce_Cui to Connor_Hash?

I couldn't find an option to change it under Preferences > Account.

Hello,
You can’t change your Shopify Community username yourself. A Shopify Community Manager or Moderator must update it manually.

You can either wait for a Shopify Staff member to reply to your thread or send a private message to a Community Manager with your request.

yes i also wanted to update it yesterday but couldn’t do it. I think changing the name shouldn’t be a problem (shopify should enable it) while keeping the handle to be the same.

I made my username in a hurry 1 year ago in a hurry just to get a quick answer from community. Now I want to make it more professional.

Contact Shopify Community Support to change it manually from their side, we cannot do it ourselves

Community usernames cannot typically be changed from your account settings once they are set. If a username change is possible, it is traditionally the work of a Community moderator and not a self-service option. In the meantime, you may edit your profile display information, where applicable, so that other users can identify you. Hopefully a mod can come along and review your request and edit it to Connor_Hash for you.
