What does it take to delete a store or change website address? If I have to delete the account with it am I refunded for the unused portion of the month?

Are you looking to change your store name or your .myshopify.com URL? If your store has early access to the feature that allows you to edit this domain, you can do so with just a few steps. You can try to follow the guide below to see if the feature is available.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.
- On the Domains page, click Change to a new myshopify.com domain next to your default domain name.
- Enter a new name, and then click Add domain.
Please note that your original .myshopify.com URL will still be used to log in to your store and identify your account when you contact our support team, so if you change this, you need to ensure to keep a record of it.
Deactivating your store and account is also as simple as following a set of steps in your admin. These steps are:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
- Click Deactivate store.
- If applicable, review the options to switch to the Pause and build plan, or start a new store.
- If you still want to deactivate, then click Deactivate store.
- Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.
- Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
